How voids and refunds are reviewed for rejected, cancelled, or timed-out paid card orders on Pick&Eat.

After a student submits an order, the student cannot cancel it from Pick&Eat. Students should review the restaurant, items, extras, prices, service fee, and pickup details before confirming the order.
When an eligible card-paid order is rejected, cancelled by the restaurant, or automatically cancelled after the restaurant response timeout, Pick&Eat starts a payment-reversal review. A same-day issue may be handled as a void before settlement when card-processing rules allow it. If a void is not available, a refund may be processed instead.
A void or refund is not complete until Pick & Eat operations confirms it through a trusted process. Card-processing rules may allow a void before settlement or within an allowed void window, which is typically same-day for food-order issues but is not guaranteed. If a refund is required instead, your bank or card issuer may require additional processing time after confirmation.
When a void succeeds, the full paid amount is normally returned or released to the original payment method. When a refund is used instead, it may be full or partial depending on the situation. Pick&Eat does not promise cash refunds for online card payments.
If a void or refund fails, remains delayed, a duplicate charge appears, payment succeeds without a valid order, or the amount appears incorrect, contact Pick&Eat Support. Pick&Eat Operations reviews failed, delayed, partial, or unusual payment-reversal cases and does not mark money as returned until confirmation is available.
Partial refunds may be used only where the case and Pick&Eat operations support returning part of the paid amount. Any remaining amount may still be retained or settled according to the business and payment rules. Bank disputes and chargebacks are handled under bank and card-network rules. Please contact Pick&Eat support first where possible.
This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights under applicable Egyptian law.
